The arrest of an 11-year-old boy in Enugu state, Nigeria, has been reported in the media. The boy, Kamsiyochukwu Sunday, was allegedly arrested by security operatives in his village of Enugu Ezike in Igbo-eze north LGA.
The arrest reportedly occurred days after he expressed his opinion over the 'illegal detention' of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. In a video posted on his page, Kamsiyochukwu idolized Nnamdi Kanu and accused politicians of not meaning well for their people. In another video, heavily masked security operatives can be seen forcefully whisking the boy into their van as his mother and siblings cry out for help.
