Renowned chef Hilda Essien Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has gained further recognition as her achievements in the culinary world were incorporated into an exam question at Akwa Ibom Polytechnic. Hilda Baci recently made headlines by breaking the previous cooking record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon, cooking for an impressive hundred hours. A lecturer at Akwa Ibom Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, seized the opportunity to utilize Hilda Baci's accomplishments as a real-life example for students. Specifically, Mass Communication students were tasked with applying Hilda Baci's Cook-a-Thon event to elucidate a psychological theory proposed by Canadian psychologist Albert Bandura. The exam question required students to justify the social learning theory of Albert Bandura using the trending social media phenomenon surrounding Hilda Baci's cooking feat. An accompanying photo was provided to further illustrate the context of the question.
