A Caucasian woman, who recently described Davido‘s concert as the “most boring 45 minutes” of her life, has expressed fear after receiving threatening messages from his fans.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), she revealed that she had been receiving disturbing messages, which caused her to feel unsafe and threatened by the reactions to her opinion about the concert. The woman expressed her concerns over her safety and even reached out to the police for assistance, stating, “I’m scared right now, why am I being threatened in my DM @DutchPolice, my life is in danger 😔😢☹️.”
The troubling messages followed shortly after she tweeted about her experience at Davido’s concert, where she labeled it the "most boring 45 minutes" of her life. Her post quickly went viral, causing a backlash from some fans of the Nigerian artist. As her post gained traction, many of Davido’s fans flooded the comments section, some offering support while others took offense to her criticism of the show.
In response to the situation, several concerned individuals on social media voiced their opinions, offering words of reassurance. Some fans mocked the critics who had threatened the woman, with @IDGAFYEMI writing, “You don’t have to be scared. None of them will get to you, they don’t even have a passport 😂 and have never been to the airport before.” Another user, @KinqKudos, added, “Leave those Bingos alone, they can’t do you nothing.”
Meanwhile, @manchala69 reassured her, saying, “Baby girl, don’t stress it. They don’t even know what an airport looks like. They’ve been farming in their villages since birth.” Others, like @BigOliver117812 and @wheemzymybaby, shifted the focus to Wizkid’s music, suggesting she listen to his latest album instead. @BigOliver117812 stated, “Don’t mind them, Wizkid is the biggest artist out of Africa, go listen to his new album, Morayo,” while @wheemzymybaby called out Davido, saying, “They are a bunch of clowns, and you’re right that David always embarrasses us Nigerians… he’s an upcoming artist!
