A Nigerian mother has cried out in distress after her young son was left with a severe injury at school, allegedly caused by a classmate. The mother, known as @plantainshopper on X, shared her emotional ordeal in a series of posts, expressing her anger and pain over the deep gash inflicted on her son’s forehead. According to her, the injury was the result of another student pushing her son.
Upon arriving at the school to pick up her son, she was horrified to discover the injury. Describing it as a “deep cut” on his forehead, she revealed how the teachers begged her for forgiveness. The child was rushed to the hospital, where he was given anesthesia to prepare for stitches. “I’m so angry right now,” the mother said, recounting the painful experience of watching her son endure the trauma. In her final update, she revealed that the stitching was completed, and her son had fallen asleep in a hospital ward.
Mother calls out school after son suffered a deep cut on forehead
“I just went to pick my son from school, and I saw him with a deep gash on his forehead. What happened? A boy pushed him!” the mother said. “Eeeeee, everybody is kneeling down to beg me. I’ve told them they should call the boy’s mother for me because it will be fire for them on Monday."
She continued, “See what somebody did to my son, Godd!!! Everyone is begging, but I’m deaf at this moment. Even if God himself comes down and tells me it’s okay, I’ll not listen!”
She quickly followed up with an update from the hospital: “Already at the hospital, they have given him anesthesia so they can stitch. I’m so angry right now. Immediately they touched his head, this boy woke up 😭. I couldn’t stand his pain 😪.”

She ended with another update: “Done with the stitching, he’s asleep now in one of the wards. We are waiting for him to wake up,” she concluded.
