A 35-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Samaila Ilu from Dungun Tantama village in Jigawa state, has tragically taken his own life due to economic hardship. The incident occurred on August 16, 2023, and has deeply affected the local community. According to police spokesperson DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, Samaila's lifeless body was found hanging from a tree with a rope, indicating his decision to end his life. The police were alerted on August 17 when he didn't return home the previous day. A team was dispatched to recover his body and conduct an autopsy to investigate the circumstances surrounding his tragic choice. His remains were subsequently released to his grieving family for burial.
