A netizen named Rita Egwu has shared the heartbreaking news that a 50-year-old blogger named Adenike Adewusi Adewunmi has passed away after experiencing complications related to her pregnancy. The deceased had reportedly been trying to conceive for the past two decades, and her long-awaited pregnancy was tragically cut short. She passed away on April 13, 2023, after complaining of shortness of breath.
Adenike Adewusi Adewunmi had been blogging and had been hoping to become a mother for many years. She had finally achieved her dream of getting pregnant, but sadly, she did not get to experience the joy of giving birth. The netizen, Rita Egwu, wrote on social media: "All Adenike Adewunmi Adewusi, owner of nikkiworld blog wanted was a child of her own. For 20 years she waited. She finally got pregnant. This morning she complained of shortness of breath and died before she could get to the hospital."
According to the post, Adenike had been planning to celebrate the birth of her child alongside her 50th birthday later this year. It is a tragedy that she did not get to see her dreams come to fruition. She is survived by her sister, Adejoke, and Toba. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
