The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has apprehended a 19-year-old student named Benjamin Nnamani Daberechi for the possession of illegal drugs, specifically Methamphetamine. The drugs were cleverly concealed within a sack of crayfish, as stated in a Facebook post by Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy for NDLEA. Daberechi, who was en route to Europe for his undergraduate studies, attempted to export approximately 7.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, utilizing the crayfish sack as a hiding place. The arrest occurred during the outward clearance of passengers on Turkish Airlines flight TK 0624 on July 12th. Despite claiming to be a student heading to Cyprus for studies, a thorough search of Daberechi's luggage revealed the illicit substance neatly concealed inside the crayfish sack. A subsequent field test confirmed the substance to be Methamphetamine.
