William Troost-Ekong has revealed that Victor Osimhen, who is widely regarded as one of Africa’s best football talents, has always been a devoted fan of Chelsea Football Club. The Super Eagles defender stated that Osimhen dreams of playing for the English Premier League side and hopes to secure a move there in the future.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray, was reportedly close to completing a transfer to Chelsea during the summer transfer window. However, negotiations with the Blues fell through, leaving the move unfulfilled.
