The Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, have paid tribute to their former coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi on the eighth anniversary of his death.
Keshi, who passed away from a heart attack on June 8, 2016, at age 54, remains a revered figure in Nigerian football history.
His wife passed away in December 2015, just months before his own tragic death.
Keshi's coaching legacy includes leading the Super Eagles to their third African Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in South Africa in 2013.
