Reece James, the right-back for Chelsea, has undergone a scan for a potential knee injury just days before the team's pre-season tour in the United States. The player has struggled with injuries in recent seasons, and his playing time has been limited as a result. Last season, he played only 16 Premier League games due to various injuries. His knee troubles began during a Champions League match against AC Milan, which ruled him out for eight weeks and the World Cup. He suffered another knee problem upon his return in December. Despite hopes for a smooth transition back into training, James complained of knee pain during a pre-season training session. As a precaution, Chelsea sent him for a scan, which confirmed a minor injury. However, he is still expected to travel with the squad for the US tour and participate in warm-up matches to build his fitness. The team's new manager, Mauricio Pochettino, considers James an integral part of his plans and hopes he will be ready for the Premier League season opener against Liverpool.
