Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to vacate his luxurious £8.5 million family residence in Barcelona following his separation from his wife, Cristina Serra.
The couple, who had been together for several decades and tied the knot in 2014, share three children: Maria, aged 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17.
The property, a lavish four-story mansion, is located in one of Barcelona's most exclusive neighborhoods and was formerly owned by football legend Rafa Marquez. Guardiola acquired the house in 2021 through a company he jointly runs with his wife. The mansion spans over 8,000 square feet of living space and is set on a sprawling plot exceeding 22,000 square feet. It features a large swimming pool, providing a glimpse of the luxury lifestyle the family has enjoyed.

According to reports from the Spanish media outlet El Confidencial, the mansion served as a base for the couple’s “physical distancing” after Cristina moved back to Barcelona in 2021 to focus on her fashion business. Despite living apart, the couple reportedly maintained a “cordial and affectionate relationship,” continuing to spend quality family time together, including during Christmas with their children.
Journalist Lorena Vazquez, who initially broke the news of their separation, confirmed that no third party was involved in their split, adding that it had been a “carefully-considered decision discussed over several months.”
As part of the arrangement, Guardiola, who is 53 years old, is expected to continue residing in his £2.7 million property in Salford, England. Meanwhile, Cristina, who has been focusing on her family’s fashion business, divides her time between Spain and London.
