Napoli's triumph in Serie A this season marked their first league title in 33 years, and the team was presented with the trophy on the final day of the campaign. With a total of 90 points, Napoli finished the season on a high note, achieving their second-highest tally in Serie A history, just one point shy of their record under Maurizio Sarri five years ago.
By clinching the golden boot, Osimhen not only surpassed his childhood idol George Weah, who currently serves as the President of Liberia, but also became the highest-scoring African player in Serie A with an impressive tally of 50 league goals.
