These rumours emerged just a year after Neymar made a highly publicized move to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, which marked a significant moment in his career.

The 32-year-old forward joined Al-Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain in a transfer deal worth £68 million, making him one of the most notable signings in the league’s history.

Recently, speculation resurfaced online, hinting that Neymar was considering ending his stint in the Middle East and making a return to his former club, Barcelona, where he previously enjoyed tremendous success.

However, his representatives have been quick to dismiss these claims, labelling them as completely baseless and without merit.

“The articles circulating about Ney’s potential return to Barça from Al Hilal are entirely false and represent a tremendous disrespect to both Al Hilal and the athlete himself,” Neymar’s representatives stated, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

They further emphasized, “Neymar is under contract with Al Hilal, and he is happy with his life in Riyadh. He is looking forward to returning to the pitch soon to continue delighting the fans.”

Since joining Al-Hilal, Neymar has encountered significant challenges, primarily due to injuries that have limited his ability to participate fully, restricting him to just five appearances for the team.

Despite these setbacks, Neymar remains committed to his two-year contract with the club, which is reportedly worth £130 million per year. He is determined to overcome these challenges and make a strong return to the field.

After missing a substantial portion of last season due to injury and subsequent surgery, Neymar is now intensifying his recovery efforts and is expected to make his comeback to action in the near future.
