Vinicius Junior concludes his most prolific season since joining Real Madrid in 2018, netting 24 goals across all competitions.
With international tournaments looming, the Brazilian forward's performance could sway the Ballon d'Or vote.
Representing Brazil at the Copa America, Vinicius has a chance to strengthen his candidacy for the prestigious individual accolade.
Should he guide Brazil to victory, his prospects of claiming the Ballon d'Or would notably rise.
Meanwhile, Arsenal winger and Brazil teammate Gabriel Martinelli has fervently backed Vinicius.
"In my opinion, he deserves to win the Ballon d'Or," Martinelli told Marca. "It's a great pride to play with Vini. I see a special boy who deserves it.
"I feel very happy as a Brazilian to witness his 'I came to shine' moment," Martinelli added.
Brazil will square off against Costa Rica, Paraguay, and Colombia in Group D of the Copa America.
The tournament is slated to run from June 21 to July 15, 2024.
