Premier League club, Manchester United, have reached an agreement with Serie A heavyweights, Atalanta, to sign Denmark international, Rasmus Hojlund. The 20-year-old striker, who has already reached personal terms with Manchester United, will cost an initial £64m plus up to £8m in add-ons. Atalanta originally demanded £86m but United negotiated for a lower fee. Paris Saint-Germain also made a €50 million offer for Hojlund recently. He began his senior career at Copenhagen and later moved to Sturm Graz before joining Atalanta. Hojlund made his international debut in 2022 and has scored six goals in six games. If the transfer is completed on time, Hojlund could be part of United's final pre-season friendlies before their Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
