Manchester United have reportedly been presented with an opportunity to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at a reduced price.
The condition is that they agree to sell Alejandro Garnacho to the Italian club.
Napoli, keen on signing Garnacho, have proposed a deal that includes a “discount” on Osimhen’s €75 million (£63.4 million) valuation if United lower their asking price for the Argentine winger.
Garnacho, 20, has drawn interest from several clubs, including Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
Reports from Sky Sports suggest that Garnacho has already reached an agreement to join Napoli during the ongoing January transfer window, but Manchester United are yet to approve the move.
United initially valued Garnacho at £75 million but have reportedly reduced their asking price to £55 million.
Napoli, however, are only willing to offer up to €60 million (£50.7 million).
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, remains a key target for Manchester United, who are looking to bolster their attacking options.
Garnacho, on the other hand, has struggled for form this season, recording just three goals and one assist in 21 Premier League appearances.
Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, and a resolution is expected soon.
