Chelsea marked their first win of the 2024/25 Premier League season with an impressive 6-2 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Blues showcased their attacking prowess in a dominant performance at Stamford Bridge.
A significant portion of Chelsea's goals came from Noni Madueke, who scored his first Premier League hat-trick. Madueke's standout performance was complemented by a late goal from Joao Felix on his return debut to the club.
The match kicked off with Nicolas Jackson opening the scoring for Chelsea early in the first half. However, Wolves quickly equalized through Matheus Cunha, making for a competitive start.

Chelsea regained their lead with a superb lob from Cole Palmer, leaving the Wolves goalkeeper unable to react. Despite this, Wolves managed to level the score once more before halftime with a goal from Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The second half was dominated by Madueke. The winger scored shortly after the break to put Chelsea back in front, and then quickly added another goal to make it 4-2. Madueke completed his hat-trick just past the hour mark, with Palmer providing the assists for all three of his goals.
Joao Felix, making his second debut for Chelsea, came on as a substitute and added the final goal, capping off an emphatic 6-2 victory for the Blues.
