Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has hailed Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah as the best-attacking player at the moment.
Salah has scored 12 goals in 11 appearances in all competitions this season for the Reds.
The 29-year-old was also included among the 30 nominees for this year’s Ballon d’Or award.
Salah netted twice against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League encounter at the Wanda Metropolitano last night.
“He’s top, top class and he’s certainly the best striker at the moment in the world because he scores goals that nobody else can score,” Wenger told beIN Sport.
“You have to play street football to dribble past people like that in a short space.
“He’s full of confidence and he’s creative.
“Overall, I believe as well that he is very intelligent because the sign of players that always improve is the intelligence.”
