Barcelona is reportedly setting its sights on AC Milan winger Rafael Leao for a potential summer transfer, as per Spanish reports.
In anticipation of coach Xavi's departure at the end of the season, Barcelona aims to reinforce its squad with a physical central midfielder and a skilled winger.
Despite a relatively modest goal-scoring record this season, Leao has showcased his abilities with six goals and nine assists in 28 appearances for Milan across all competitions.
However, the 24-year-old extended his contract last summer, committing to the club until June 2028.
While Barcelona has shown interest in Bayern Munich's Leroy Sane, their primary focus is on Leao, who has been on their radar before, as reported by Football Italia.
Reportedly open to a move in the summer, the Portuguese winger is said to prefer a club in the Premier League or La Liga over a return to Ligue 1, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
