Manchester United winger Antony has officially been cleared of domestic violence allegations following an extensive investigation conducted by Brazilian police.
The investigation spanned over a year, stemming from serious accusations made by Antony’s ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, who alleged that the footballer was guilty of “domestic violence, threat, and bodily injury”.
These claims resulted in police reports being filed in both Brazil and England, prompting a cross-border investigation.
Throughout the ordeal, Antony consistently and firmly maintained his innocence, denying all the allegations against him.

As the investigation progressed, Antony took a voluntary leave of absence from Manchester United, missing three important Premier League matches at the beginning of the 2023/24 season to focus on the case.
The case was processed under strict confidentiality, and it concluded without an indictment, as authorities found insufficient evidence to proceed with charges against Antony.
In a statement released by talkSPORT, Antony’s legal team confirmed that the investigation had been officially closed.
The Brazilian Public Security Secretariat also noted that any further details related to the case would be disclosed solely through the courts due to its confidential status.
