Florentino Perez , the president of Real Madrid, has expressed optimism about securing the signing of Kylian Mbappe , the French football star, in the near future.
Speculation regarding Mbappe's move to Real Madrid has been ongoing since his breakthrough as a teenager with AS Monaco.

Although Real Madrid made a €220 million (£188m/$237m) offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Mbappe during the last summer transfer window, it was rejected by the Ligue 1 side.
It was widely expected that Mbappe would join Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of the following season. However, he surprised many by signing a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain in May 2022.
The current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024, with an option for a 12-month extension if Mbappe decides to remain at Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain's home stadium.
