Bayo Onanuga, who is a media aide of the president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has taken to his official Twitter page to urge the President of the United States, Joe Biden, to disregard an open letter written to him by renowned author Chimamanda Adichie. In the letter, Chimamanda had criticized the congratulatory messages sent by the US President and British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, due to the irregularities in Nigeria's election. Mr. Onanuga dismissed Chimamanda's writing as a fiction inspired by the loss of her tribesman, Peter Obi. He went on to ask President Biden to trash the letter once it reaches his desk.
