President Bola Tinubu is preparing to present the comprehensive budget for the fiscal year 2025 to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
This development was officially disclosed by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, during the plenary session held on Thursday, where he outlined the plans for the presentation.
According to Akpabio, the budget presentation will take place at the House of Representatives’ chamber, marking a significant milestone in the country’s fiscal planning for the upcoming year.
Earlier, President Tinubu had laid the groundwork for this process by submitting the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for the period 2025-2027 to both the Senate and the House of Representatives last Tuesday.
