Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has sent a message to Nigerians currently hiding in the United States to avoid being deported under the administration of Donald Trump.
The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, initiated a large-scale deportation exercise just a few days after assuming office. His administration has intensified efforts to remove undocumented immigrants, including Nigerians, who do not have legal residency status in the United States.
The deportation of illegal migrants, especially those lacking proper documentation, began a few days ago, with thousands of individuals already sent back to their home countries. Reports indicate that immigration officials are conducting raids and detaining undocumented individuals across different states in the U.S.
Reacting to the situation, Shehu Sani took to his Twitter page to offer advice to Nigerians who are currently hiding in fear of deportation. He urged them to accept reality and consider returning home rather than living under constant fear and uncertainty.
He tweeted; “Nigerians in the US hiding from Trump’s deportation should just humbly come back home.”
