The results of the 2023 elections in Abuja show that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, emerged as the winner with a total of 281,717 votes. The former Governor of Anambra State was able to secure a significant lead over his closest competitors, with Bola Tinubu of the APC coming in second with 90,902 votes and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP trailing behind with 74,199 votes.
[p]Abuja is composed of six area councils, which include Gwagwalada, Abaji, Kwali, Gwagwalada, Bwari, and Abuja Municipal.
