A controversy has erupted following the Lagos State Government’s [/b]demolition of the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) free schools, with many raising concerns over the matter.
According to a report by popular TV station TVC News, the school authorities have threatened to take legal action against the Lagos State Government over the demolition of their property.
Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the founder of OPM, expressed his disappointment during an interview with TVC News while the demolition was underway. He revealed that the land on which the schools were built was purchased [/b]legally, providing documents as evidence of the transaction.
Despite this, reports indicate that the government officials displayed a nonchalant attitude and proceeded with the demolition of the church without responding to the claims made by the authorities of OPM.
This situation has sparked reactions from online users, with many expressing outrage and others calling for compensation to be given to the church as a result of the incident. The issue has garnered attention from both OPM supporters and individuals concerned about the actions of the Lagos State Government.
