The Akwa Ibom State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has announced the appointment of Baba Mohammed Azare as the 34th Commissioner of Police for the state. Azare, originally from Katagum Local Government Area in Bauchi State, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano. His specializations in Public Policy and Administration, as well as Crime Management, Prevention, and Control, have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of law enforcement, governance, and public safety, all of which are crucial in his new role.
