A devastating auto crash has resulted in the deaths of six individuals in Jigawa State, just 48 hours after a tragic accident claimed 14 lives in the same region.
The fatal incident occurred on Tuesday night along the Auyo-Adiyani road, located in Guri Local Government Area of the state. The victims, all from the same family, were reportedly returning home after a condolence visit to relatives who had suffered losses in the earlier accident.
Confirming the tragedy, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Jigawa State Command, DSP Shi’isu Lawan Adam, stated that an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
The police spokesperson noted that all efforts are being made to uncover the circumstances surrounding the crash, as the state reels from another heartbreaking road accident.
