Ukraine [/b]has made a significant contribution to alleviating Nigeria's food crisis by donating 25,000 tons of wheat. The initiative, led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, known as the โGrain from Ukraine,โ is part of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) response to the urgent situation affecting over 1.3 million people in Nigeria's northeastern region. This collaborative effort involved support from various nations, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Luxembourg, Norway, Republic of Korea, and Sweden. These countries joined forces to cover the transportation costs and facilitate the distribution of the donated wheat to families in need.
