Peter Obi, has emerged as the winner in Nasarawa State in the 2023 presidential election. He defeated the candidates of the All-Progressive People's Party (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to secure the victory. Peter Obi won a total of 191,361 votes from Nasarawa State, with support from four local governments and other LGAs.
Peter Obi's victory in Nasarawa State was a significant one, as he was able to overcome the strong competition from the APC and PDP. His party's success was attributed to his popularity among the people of the state, as well as the Labour Party's manifesto, which resonated with many voters.
In the election, the APC obtained a total of 172,922 votes, while the PDP scored 147,093 votes. Other parties such as the NNPP and APGA also participated in the election but secured fewer votes compared to the top three parties.
