Omah Lay, the 2020 breakthrough star, was crowned the Next Rated Act at the 14th award ceremony for Headies.

The award is given to the most promising artist of the year under review and a brand new car comes along with it. This category was won on the basis of votes collected by the award ceremony organizers. Together with Tems, Oxlade and Bella Shmurda, Omah lay was nominated.
