Popular veteran Nigerian singer, D’banj whom was accused by one Miss Seyitan Babatayo, has been cleared of the rape charges, as the accuser has officially written a letter to the Nigerian police, to withdraw her rape petition.
Umar Sanda, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admin), speaking on the case, said;
The case was unable to proceed because of lack of evidence as the incident had happened some months ago.
