US-based Nigerian rapper Onome Onokohwomo, popularly known as Yung6ix, has narrowly escaped death following a terrifying robbery attack in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA). The incident, which could have ended tragically, left the rapper shaken and immensely grateful for his life.
Yung6ix shared his harrowing experience on his X Page, recounting how he was nearly shot during the attack. According to the rapper, the robbers opened fire while he was in his car, but by a miraculous turn of events, the bullet missed him.

Describing the ordeal, Yung6ix said the incident was so surreal that he initially thought it was an assassination attempt rather than a robbery. The attack left his car badly damaged, but the rapper survived unharmed, which he attributes to divine intervention.
In his own words, Yung6ix wrote on his X Page:
“[I] just wanna thank God for working harder than satan. They just tried to rob me in DTLA. F*ck my car up. Never been this shocked in a minute. I’m grateful. Mama’s prayers working.”
He went on to express disbelief and gratitude for surviving the ordeal, saying:
“Na where the bullet passes we still dey find, cuz I was in the car. This is mind-boggling.”
The rapper also reflected on how close he came to losing his life:
“I thought this guy was gonna kill me bro, I swear on the blood of Jesus. God forbid, na so I for just go yesterday? God is definitely working overtime for me.”
The chilling incident has sparked concern and prayers from fans, who took to his page to express their relief and send messages of support to the rapper.
