Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has officially confirmed his role in originating the viral slogan, "No gree for anybody," after conducting an investigation into its roots.
The actor, often the center of attention due to his marital crisis, acknowledged that he had been repeatedly informed about being the creator of the slogan that gained widespread popularity at the beginning of the year.
According to the filmmaker, people asserted that the slogan originated from a post he made on December 29, 2023, on Instagram and Facebook.
Yul Edochie emphasized that, after thorough investigation, it has become evident that the claim is true, and he deserves credit for it.
In his words: “People have been telling me that it was Yul Edochie who started the slogan ‘NO GREE FOR ANYBODY.’ They said it came from a post I made on the 29th of December, 2023, on Instagram and Facebook, from there it went viral. I have investigated the matter. E be like na true oo. So make una dey give me my credit oo. 🕺🕺🕺”
