The youths in Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, and Zamfara have rallied against the ongoing nationwide campaign against police brutality and extortion.
The youths held up various placards with opposing inscriptions as;” Bringing SARS to an Ends means more Kidnapping, More RobberyMore Yahoo.

Another placard read;
”Police are always there to keep our society safe”
According to the youths, they want the Special Anti-Robbery Squad reformed and not disband.
However, Youths from the southern part have continued protests against the gross human rights abuse, including extrajudicial killings, intimidation, and harassment of citizens, by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
