The Yoruba Nollywood industry witnesses a heartwarming moment as veteran actors Yinka Quadri and Taiwo Hassan, also known as Ogogo, mend their strained relationship after years of discord.
Their rift, sparked by an anonymous blogger named Gistlover some years ago, intensified when Yinka Quadri skipped Shaki’s wedding and naming ceremony, resulting in a public fallout between the two actors.
However, online videos capture the heartening moment during Yomi Fabiyi‘s birthday celebration, where the actors embraced each other, signaling their reconciliation.
In one video, Yinka Quadri is seen generously tipping the band singer on stage, with Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo) joining in, symbolizing their renewed bond as they embrace in a warm hug.
Many express surprise at their reconciliation and commend them for handling the situation with maturity.
Meanwhile, in another reconciliation within the industry, actresses Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele also mend fences after a longstanding rivalry for Box Office supremacy.
Their reconciliation occurs when Toyin celebrates Funke on her birthday, and Funke reciprocates the gesture.
As a clear sign of their renewed friendship, Toyin attends Funke Akindele’s movie premiere for “She Must Be Obeyed.”
