Wizkid, the Grammy Award-winning artist, also known as Ayodeji Balogun, shares in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra that despite his past accomplishments, his musical journey is about to commence.
Even with accolades, streaming success, and chart-topping achievements, Wizkid believes there's more for him in the music industry. He expresses that his passion for music is unwavering, seeing it as a perpetual journey.
"The journey is about to begin for Wizkid. I don’t see myself as someone who has achieved something major yet. For me, music is a forever thing," he reveals.
It's noteworthy that Wizkid stands out as one of Africa’s most financially successful artists, holding the record for the most awards received on the continent. Additionally, he claims the title of Sub-Saharan Africa’s most streamed artist and is the second most followed Nigerian musician on social media, after Davido.
