Twitter personality, Daniel Regha, renowned for expressing his opinions, has raised questions for Nigerians in the wake of Davido's meeting with Peter Obi.
The singer and the former presidential candidate were spotted together at a recent birthday party, prompting Daniel Regha to question the absence of cancel culture in the aftermath of their meeting.
He pointed out that the reactions would likely be different if Davido had engaged with politicians like Tinubu or Atiku, who faced allegations. Noting that Peter Obi is yet to be cleared of accusations against him, Daniel Regha expressed surprise at the lack of scrutiny, especially considering Davido's absence during the campaign season and general elections.
In his words: “Davido is seen vibing with Peter Obi & there’s no cancel culture, but if he was conversing with Tinubu, Atiku or any politician accused of something, the reactions will be different. So what’s the celebration for? Obi is yet to clear the allegations against him, while Davido was absent during the campaign season & general elections. The way we Nigerians quickly forget is awful!”
