Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has opened up about the new nickname fans have given him, calling him the Cristiano Ronaldo of Nollywood.
In a detailed post shared on his Instagram page, the veteran movie star expressed excitement and gratitude for the recognition. According to him, the nickname was inspired by his performance in his recent movie, THE MESSIAH, which left many viewers highly impressed.
Yul disclosed that fans drew a parallel between him and the legendary Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, often regarded as one of the greatest of all time in football. Similarly, they consider him the greatest in Nollywood, leading to the moniker "C Ronaldo of Nollywood."
The actor, while addressing his followers, expressed his appreciation for their support and the compliments he has received, stating that the recognition means a lot to him. He described the title as an honor and reaffirmed his dedication to delivering exceptional performances in the Nollywood industry.

“I just heard the viewers have given me a new name after watching the movie THE MESSIAH. They now call me the C Ronaldo of Nollywood. Means Nollywood greatest.
