Controversial social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has released new evidence that allegedly implicates popular Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, in her ongoing legal battle with her former record label boss, Eezee Tee.
It is worth recalling that Mercy Chinwo and Eezee Tee are currently locked in a legal dispute, with the singer accusing her former record label boss of financial exploitation, fraudulent practices, and breaching contractual agreements. The lawsuit has drawn significant attention from fans and the general public, with various stakeholders weighing in on the matter.
In a new twist, VeryDarkMan has decided to speak out regarding the controversial lawsuit, claiming to have obtained critical evidence that raises questions about Mercy Chinwo’s credibility in the case.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan alleged, with supporting proof, that the case’s prosecutor and the presiding judge have personal ties to Mercy Chinwo, suggesting a possible conflict of interest that could affect the fairness of the trial.
According to his claims, the prosecutor, identified as Rotimi Oyedepo, has been previously sanctioned by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for alleged human rights violations. This, he argues, raises concerns about the integrity of the legal proceedings.
Furthermore, VeryDarkMan alleged that the presiding judge, Michael Nzekwe, follows Mercy Chinwo on Instagram. He suggested that this social media connection implies a level of familiarity that could result in bias in favor of the singer.
Expressing his concerns, VeryDarkMan stated that for justice to prevail, the case should be reassigned to a neutral judge who has no connections to either Mercy Chinwo or Eezee Tee. He further suggested that a Muslim judge, who may not be familiar with Mercy Chinwo’s gospel music or her record label, would be a more impartial choice to handle the case.
“This case should be given to a neutral person, a Muslim judge that may not know Mercy Chinwo, doesn’t listen to gospel songs, and doesn’t know Eezee Concept,” he emphasized.
