Nollywood filmmaker, Ugezu Ugezu, recently shared his thoughts and reaction after a woman he knows became visibly upset with him for not attending her dog’s birthday celebration. The incident has sparked both amusement and surprise among his followers.
Taking to his Instagram page, Ugezu explained that it has been several years since he last attended a birthday party, citing personal reasons for his decision. While he did not delve into specific details, he made it clear that birthday parties have not been on his agenda for quite some time now.
Despite his stance on attending such events, Ugezu revealed that a friend recently invited him to her dog’s birthday party. To his surprise, the woman became quite angry when he failed to show up, even though he had never made a commitment to attend. What shocked him further was the fact that human beings and professionals from various fields were present at the party, celebrating the dog’s birthday with much enthusiasm.
In his own words, Ugezu shared: “For years now, I have not attended any birthday party for reasons best known to me. I have not even discussed the topic. Finally, someone is angry that I did not attend her dog’s birthday party. My eyes have actually seen my ears. And human beings, real-time professionals, were at the party. Uwa nke na akpa onye..”
