Music executive, Ubi Franklin [/b]has opened up about his connection with Grammy-nominated artist, Davido, shedding light on his involvement with the singer’s management team. Franklin took to social media to clarify his role and distance himself from certain rumors that have been circulating online.
The clarification came after a fan falsely claimed that Ubi Franklin serves as Chioma’s personal assistant, referring to Davido’s wife. In response, Franklin made it clear that he is not involved in any personal assistant role, but rather is focused on his professional endeavors.
This statement followed his announcement about working on a book aimed at clearing up public misconceptions about his career and relationships, which he shared in a tweet via X (formerly Twitter). Franklin emphasized that he had nothing to do with the personal dynamics of Davido’s household, but rather has been involved in his professional network and business ventures.
Ubi Franklin took a moment to praise Davido’s management team, highlighting their exceptional achievements and their efficiency in managing the artist’s massive brand. He expressed admiration for the work they’ve done in driving Davido’s success. However, he also firmly dispelled rumors of his involvement in Davido’s management team, reaffirming that he is the founder and CEO of Mademen Music G, a completely separate entity from the management behind the artist.
Franklin made it clear that if he were indeed involved with Davido’s management, he would be more than qualified to handle such a role. His extensive experience in the music business, he stated, gives him the credentials to undertake such responsibilities, but he reiterated that he remains focused on his own career and business ventures, particularly with Mademen Music G.
