Nigerian actor Tobi Bakre, known for his role in “Gangs of Lagos”, opened up about fatherhood and his relationship with his wife Anu in a recent episode of the “Tea with Tay” podcast. Bakre stated that being a father has made him strive to be a better person and set a good example for his child. He also emphasized the importance of treating people with kindness and love, as he believes that he is his son's first example of what a man should be like. Speaking about fatherhood, Bakre described it as one of the best experiences in the world, as every day is filled with something new and exciting, such as his son learning to say new words or walking.
In the podcast, Bakre also shared how he met his wife Anu. According to him, they first met at an event where Toke Makinwa and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu were hosting a show for Toolz and Gbemi. They happened to be entering the event almost at the same time and later left at the same time. Bakre said that they then decided to hang out, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, they grew closer and the rest is history.
