Nigerian musician Timaya has taken to social media, issuing a warning to fellow Nigerians residing in South Africa in the wake of Nigeria's semi-final victory in the AFCON football tournament.
While celebrations erupted online after Nigeria's triumph over South Africa, concerns about the safety of Nigerians living in the host nation have heightened.

Timaya, through a Twitter post, encouraged Nigerians in South Africa to "just DEY YOUR DEY," advising them to stay indoors to avoid potential violence or altercations that might arise post the football match.
“If you’re a Nigerian and in SA tonight pls just DEY YOUR DEY!,” Timaya wrote.
