The back-and-forth between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest began when the Grammy-winning Afrobeat artist took to his social media page and made a post that many interpreted as a direct reference to Cubana Chief Priest, a close associate of Davido. Burna Boy had called Chief Priest “Owerri Rick Ross” in his post, a comment that caught the attention of many fans and followers online.
In his response, Cubana Chief Priest fired back with a post of his own, making a pointed reference to Burna Boy’s Grammy win.
