The lawyer of Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington, Stan Alieke, has disclosed the date for his client’s release after being granted bail.
Stan Alieke took to his Instagram story to announce that Speed Darlington had been arraigned in court and granted bail on January 15th, 2025. Despite the court granting bail, the rapper was not immediately released, as the court had not yet completed the verification process for the surety provided on his behalf.
According to Stan, efforts are being made to ensure the rapper’s release on January 16th, 2025, once the verification of the surety is completed.
In his Instagram update, Stan Alieke shared the following: “Yes, Akpi was arraigned and granted bail today by the court & he was meant to be released today. The court just couldn’t meet up to verify the surety we provided, that’s why he wasn’t released today. Hopefully, by tomorrow he’ll be out after the perfection of the bail conditions.”
