Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington, has once again stirred controversy as he renews his long-running feud with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy. This latest chapter unfolded following a heated altercation that led to Speed Darlington’s recent detention by the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in Abuja.
The dispute reportedly began when Burna Boy filed a formal petition, accusing Speed Darlington of cyberstalking, which ultimately resulted in the rapper’s arrest and a subsequent three-day detention.
Reacting to her son’s predicament, Speed Darlington’s mother publicly denounced Burna Boy and his associates, fervently calling for her son’s release and condemning the actions taken against him.
Upon his release on bail, Speed Darlington did not hold back, addressing the situation immediately. He went live on Instagram, delivering fiery remarks directed at Burna Boy and making it clear that he is far from finished with the matter.
In a bold statement, Speed Darlington declared, “I’m just getting started. By the time I am done with this man, he would look for people that know my account number and send me N12M as an apology.”
This intensified stance has ignited mixed reactions among fans and the public, with many debating whether the feud will escalate further or lead to additional confrontations between the two artists.

This man is saying the only way he’s gonna leave Burna Boy alone is if he decides to pay him off with 12M. His mum is alive now but when – pic.twitter.com/VJ9hfk6LcI
