Nigerian singer, Skales, has reacted to the death of an EFCC official, saying that it is good for them.
He made this statement in a tweet via his official handle on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday.
Recall that the Internet has been buzzing for the past few days following the death of an EFCC official, who was shot dead while raiding an alleged internet fraudster’s house in Anambra.
In his reaction, Skales made it clear that he felt no pity whatsoever for the official or the Commission. He expressed a deep sense of satisfaction over the incident, relating it to his own painful experience with EFCC officials.
Skales recalled a past ordeal where EFCC officials raided his home, a traumatic event that has left lasting effects on him and his family. He shared that the raid caused deep emotional scars that still affect them to this day, and he stated that he holds a grudge against the Commission for the way they handled the situation.
Expressing his anger, Skales said that he is far from forgiving them for the pain they caused, highlighting an incident where his daughter, who was only 6 months old at the time, was hurt during the raid. He revealed that the trauma caused by the EFCC raid led his daughter's mother to drop her out of fear, causing the infant to burst her lip in the process.
In his tweet, Skales said, “It’s quite unfortunate that someone lost his life but they had it coming, imagine the trauma I and my family still face till now.”
He added, “Good for them … my daughter was 6 months old and her mom dropped her out of fear and she burst her lip … good for them… I will never forgive them … I am so happy.”
