Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, professionally known as Ayra Starr, has revealed in a recent chat with Nairobi News that she graduated from the university at the young age of 18. According to the "Sability" star, her music career did not begin until she turned 18 because her mother insisted that she obtain a degree first. She explained that she wrote the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in SS2, a year before she was supposed to complete secondary school, and she excelled in it. Later on, she gained admission to study International Relations and Political Science in Benin Republic, and since it was a three-year course, she graduated at the age of 18.
Ayra Starr also revealed that although she intends to further her education, she has been busy with her music career. Currently, she is taking French classes, piano lessons, and music lessons in addition to her music career. The young singer's talent has taken her far, and she has been making waves in the Nigerian music industry since the release of her debut album in 2021.
