Popular comedian Seyi Law responded to a viral video showing him collecting a lady‘s phone number on a public bus in the UK.
Online users trolled the comedian over the widely shared video on the X platform since they speculated he was having extramarital affairs with the lady.
In reaction, Seyi Law clarified that the lady on the bus was someone he identified as Yetunde from the University of LINCOLN. He noted that their event happened in Nigeria on May 25th but was unable to host it since it clashed with his show in Abuja.
He described her as a beautiful lady and a friend of his friend who owned the record label that signed Nigerian singer and skit maker, Nasboi. Seyi Law backed up his explanation with a video.
His words: “Serah Ibrahim, you wish it was your number. That is YETUNDE from the University of LINCOLN, and their event in Nigeria happened on the 25th of May, which I couldn’t host because of my show in Abuja. She is such a beautiful lady. She is also a friend of my friend, Dr Wisdom, the record label owner that signed Nasboi. Mo ju iyalaya e lo, Serah.”
